Netherlands SHAPE Contingent Morale Patch

PVC morale patch design for Netherlands contingent at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Belgium. Morale patches have become one of my favorite project types to work on, especially when clients go with PVC for production. PVC is far superior than embroidery or stitching in my opinion. Well worth the investment.

I created the poster using photos that I had taken at the previous year's event.

Leveille Cup Hockey Jerseys

The Canadian Forces Joint Signals Regiment (CFJSR) in Kingston ON, holds an annual hockey tournament in honour of Corporal Randy Leveille (9 July 1969 - 28 January 1994). Cpl Randy Leveille was a member of 4 Sqn, C Tp 1 CDHSR. He served in the Gulf War, was an excellent soldier and an extremely popular member of the Regiment. While deplooyed in BFC Valcartier on winter exercise in January of 1994, he was tasked as a MLVW Driver for the road move back to kignston. On Friday morning of the scheduled redeployment, the weather took a serious turn for the worse.

Whilst driving between Québec City and Montréal, the highway was reduced to a single lane. WHile attempting to stop for bumper to bumper traffic, Cpl Leveille lost control of the vehicle as a result of black ice. THe vehicle left the road and overturned, killing Randy immediately. Although he was single, he left behind a very close immediate family of service members, including his father who was a retired Artillery Master Warrant Officer and two sisters who were both serving at the time.

Randy loved sports in general, but was most passionate about hockey. It was decided to remember him in a manner that would best reflect the kind of person he was. THe Randy Leveille Annual Hockey Tournament serves to bring the Regiment together in a friendly, recreational setting to celebrate Regimental life, camaraderie and sport; three things that Randy will always be remembered for.

Unik Skills Krav Maga

For a while, posters were one of my favorite projects to work on. This one was a poster for Unik Skills, which was originally located in Kingston under Pat Major. This was a really fun project though, as I took the photography for this project as well. It was fun to have a hand in so many parts of this project.

Karate Party!

A while back I had the opportunity to work with Ferris Family Karate on a number of fun projects, including this one. I got the inspiration for the band across the middle from the head band that Ralph Macchio (who plays Daniel LaRusso) wears. I enjoyed this poster quite a bit.
